Enrollment in the Grade One French Immersion program is limited in each school. If there are more students who select French Immersion at a school than there are seats available a school based lottery will be held to determine who is enrolled in the program. The limited seats for the program means that there is no guarantee that a student will be able to enter the French Immersion program. Please view the Superintendent's Blog Post from October 2012 to see a detailed timeline of the meetings, presentations and other relevant information regarding this process. See the Grade One Assignment Policy.
