The Milton Public Schools is working to ensure all Milton Families in need have a wonderful holiday season.
Elementary: The elementary gift drive needs donations of all types of items. Legos, dolls representing a diverse array of skin tones/cultures, superhero action figures, arts and craft kits, science/STEM kits, board games, video games, books, a football or basketball, outdoor active toys, or anything with Boston sports teams. No food or violent games. $25 TARGET gift cards are needed, too. All details can be found here.
MHS will be collecting gift cards over the next few weeks for our Teens in Need Collection. Gift cards in $25 increments for Shaws, Stop-n-Shop, and Target are always welcome and appreciated. The cards will be given to families of MHS students over the next two months to meet holiday and basic needs. Please feel free to drop off any donations to the front office. Pierce Families Helping Families: Each year our school counselors identify Pierce families in need and collect gift cards to be distributed to them for the holidays. This program, Families Helping Families, provides an opportunity for your family to bring a little bit of holiday spirit to another family at Pierce Middle School in the most anonymous and quiet way.
If you are interested in supporting this initiative at Pierce, please bring your gift card donation to the main office at the Pierce Middle School by December 12th, and deposit it in the sealed box located in the front foyer marked Families Helping Families. We recommend gift cards to stores such as Star Market, Shaw's, Stop & Shop, Target, and Old Navy. Please be sure to write the amount on each gift card donated. Our school counseling staff will make sure that these gift cards find their way to needy Pierce families this holiday season. Please know that we truly appreciate your generosity.
