Black Unity Club celebrates Black History Month

Thank you to MHS Junior Kendra Oppong for this information.

This February, the Black Unity Club celebrated Black History Month by working together each Thursday to spotlight influential Black leaders. Each member selected a figure who made a meaningful impact on history and researched their achievements and legacy. Some people chosen were Kai Cenat, Jerry Lawson, Alice Coachman, and more! Our collaborative display features photos, key facts, and stories that honor their contributions, all centered on the message “Black History.” Through this project, we aimed to educate, inspire, and remind our school community that Black history is not just the past; it continues to shape our present and future!
