Latin Club Classics Day
On April 16th, Milton High School Latin Club traveled to the College of the
Holy Cross to compete in Classics Day. This event celebrates the study of Latin and Roman culture with several high schools from around the state. Milton competed in trivia, costume, and art. All members took part and enjoyed both competing and watching other performances. The MHS costume group put on a skit of the myth, "Baucis & Philemon" from Ovid's Metamorphoses. They were so excited to take home the second place trophy! Students were also able to view parts of the college campus and learn about opportunities the college has to offer.
