Community Schools

MCS prides itself on making the distinction that it is not simply a child care service but in fact, an optional, enrichment out-of-school time program that promotes learning and growth. MCS serves students attending Milton Public Schools in grades K-5 by providing courses focusing on physical activities, the arts, STEM, and social age-appropriate enrichment and recreational activities.

History

MCS was founded in 1982 to provide Milton Public School students in grades K-5 extracurricular activities in a safe enrichment environment. MCS is a self-supporting department of Milton Public Schools. We do not receive funds from Milton Public Schools or grants from state or federal government.

MCS received a Community Builder Award in 2000 for enriching childhood education in Milton.

April Vacation Camp 2025 registration is now open on Arbiter Sports! April Vacation Camps will occur at Cunningham and Tucker Elementary schools on Tuesday, April 22 - Friday, April 25. Camp hours are 8:30 am - 3:30 pm.

MCS Summer Program 2025 Registration Opens at Noon on March 19

MPS students in grades K-5 (rising grades 1-6) now have two fun camps to choose from, Camp Cunningham and Camp Tucker!

Spring Enrichment Classes

Registration is now open for any paid MCS Spring enrichment classes. This includes Ja Shin Do, Fencing, Code Wiz, and Chess Class. Please click button link below to be directed to Arbiter Sports.

Please be aware that students can only attend enrichment classes that occur on days of the week that they regularly attend.
