Shoutout to our Collicot 5th Graders who raised an additional $233.82 at their Social last week, to add to Collicot’s Glow Gold contribution!
As Milton Glows Gold wraps up, we'll be excited to share the total raised from Jumping Jacks, generous sponsors and so many thoughtful kids who held lemonade stands, cookie sales and events like the Collicot Social.

We had a beautiful day for Walk and Wheel to School Day last week. It was wonderful to see so many families walking, biking and scootering to school!

Collicot’s first art projects of the year have come together beautifully!
2nd grade artists created artwork inspired by Olympic events. Students created their own figure by gluing down upcycled cardstock which is called a collagraph. Students then made a print or rubbing from their design and layered the prints on top of a background of concentric circles.

Milton is holding two Flu Clinics on 10/16 and 10/17. There is also a school wide clinic for students on 10/24 at Pierce from 4pm-6pm.
All details can be found on the Town of Milton website: www.townofmilton.org

Come check out the new Fire Station at the MFD Open House this weekend!
October 19, 12-2pm , behind Town Hall.

Come support the Milton High School Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams at our Kids Trail Run at Cunningham Park on Sunday, October 20th. There are different races for students in K-8th grades and it is a great opportunity to experience cross country!

Milton Glows Gold in September and so does MPS!
Milton Glows Gold (MGG) was created by the MCM Fund to raise awareness and support for kids battling cancer and to support families with financial assistance. This year, the MCM Fund is hosting Milton Glows Gold in loving memory of Emily L. Butt, who passed away on February 27, 2024, after a courageous battle with leukemia. Emily's vibrant spirit and infectious smile were a gift to all who knew her during her precious eight years of life.
All details on Milton Glows Gold can be found here (www.miltonglowsgold.org) or at the link in our profile. Let's Glow Gold this September, Milton!

Share your back to school pics with us so we can share them with the MPS community! Email your pictures to pictures@miltonps.org. Thanks for helping us share the back to school fun!

Just a reminder that Massachusetts kids can eat at school for free!
ALL of our MPS students are able to receive a healthy and FREE breakfast and lunch every day to fuel their bodies and keep their minds sharp. FYI, any second lunches and additional a la carte items such as milk, water, snacks will be debited from the student's lunch account.
It is still important for families to fill out free and reduced applications if you feel you may qualify. Applications can be found on the food service page (https://www.myschoolapps.com/Application). Completion of this form can help families qualify for other kinds of assistance, including community opportunities.

We had a wonderful MPS Staff Opening day this morning! Two more sleeps until our grades 1-12 students join us on Wednesday, August 28 - we can't wait to see you!

We are busy planning for next year and hiring for open positions at MPS. Want to join the best team around? Take a look at our job openings on our website, www.miltonps.org or at this link: https://www.miltonps.org/page/employment-opportunities
