Join us in celebrating these talented MPS students who have received academic honors from the College Board National Recognition Program for their strong performance in school and on assessments.
Nationwide, awardees are among the highest achieving students in their communities and we are thrilled to recognize this impressive group of students!

MHS is excited to welcome the No Hate Tour on Monday September 22nd. All students will attend this one hour impactful and entertaining bullying prevention assembly. Please reach out to Director of Counseling, Jennie Beliveau (jbeliveau@miltonps.org), with any questions.
Students were asked to deeply observe various art room supplies. Upon choosing an item, students allowed their hand to draw everything their eyes saw. They had to look slowly and draw slowly. Students were hyper focused to capture all the details and the results are magnificent!

Milton High School Open House ~~ Thursday, September 11th
We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, September 11th at 6:00pm for our Open House. All parents/guardians are invited! This is a great night to listen to classroom expectations and goals for the year. The evening will begin promptly at 6:00pm in the auditorium. To access your child's schedule on the PowerSchool website go to My Schedule on the left menu and select Matrix View and to access from the app go to Classes. Just a reminder that this time is for teachers to review their classroom policies, grading expectations and other general information pertinent to your student’s success in high school. This is not a time for conversations about specific students in their classroom; if you have any questions about your child please reach out to the teacher via email.
Student leaders will be present in the building to help guide you and the schedule for the evening can be found here. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1jT6GAYM22_hGvpZYSqVFGK7qOkdEYAzsiOf31XKM9wk/edit?usp=sharing
See you on September 11th!

Big news on the reading front - Tucker student Nova is a featured reader on the MPL's Dial-a-Story service during the month of September!
Nova is reading The Day You Begin by Jacqueline Woodson, and September stories are posted all month long. Be sure to dial in and and hear Nova read!
As a reminder, Dial-a-Story is a Milton Public Library service where folks can call 617-915-1915 anytime and listen to librarians read stories, tell jokes, and the like. The content changes monthly, and for a while now they've been including guest readers - usually kids - who read a picture book in the Dial 6 slot.

Week two routines are in full swing at MPS and we are ready for a great year!

We had a talented and dedicated group of MHS students who really connected with students supported staff all summer. Each week we offer a raffle and staff can nominate Red Shirts who went above and beyond that week. Each winner was awarded a gift certificate to a local business. Congrats to Kenny, Maddie, Sophie and Richard!
